I am going to share with you the foundation and makeup base that I am using now.
I bought them from Robinson's Chanel Cosmetic counter.
Love my makeup base, it doesn't leave my skin feeling oily/sticky after applying it.
I am very picky when it comes to buying moisturizer or makeup base or sun block. The first few things I always check:
- Does it leave the feeling oily/sticky
- Is it non comedogenic
I have combination and acne prone skin. That's why I will try to avoid any product that is comedogenic.
(In case if you don't know what does that mean, here is the link to find out more: http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/acnedetect.htm)
Back to the makeup base, it is under Chanel latest Le Blanc range therefore there will be some whitening effect. And most importantly, IT IS A LIGHT WEIGHT makeup base! You feel as if nothing is on your face once it is fully absorb.
It comes in 3 different colors, each for a different skin tone. I am using 20 Mimosa, for the yellow skin tone.
As for foundation, I bought it quite sometime ago. It is 30ml and lasted me for very long. They came out with a new range of foundation - Vitalumiere Aqua. I was very tempted to get it but I have to finish my current foundation FIRST. Who knows by then they will have something better?!
Anyway, I got the Mat Lumiere with a SPF 15. It is more suitable for combination to oily skin. The coverage is pretty good, most of my scar can be covered with just a thin layer of the foundation. I love the matte finish on the face, it actually make the oily part of the face shine less.
I even introduced it to my mom, she bought the Vitalumiere range, and she is loving it too!
